 Welcome to Scottsdale Saddle Club, Arizona's oldest and most active saddle club. We have over 400 members ranging from toddlers to seniors. Most of our members own their own horses but this is not a requirement for membership. We are also members of the Arizona State Horseman’s Association. SSC is a family oriented volunteer organization of equine enthusiasts. Our non profit club is run by many volunteers that work hard for our members. We host many horse shows, gymkhanas and junior rodeos throughout the year. We emphasize a fun and safe family oriented atmosphere with classes/events for the beginner to the advanced rider. |

SSC Mission Statement: To provide horse related events, activities, and opportunities for volunteers within the local community. To protect the equestrian lifestyle in the State of Arizona and the promotion of responsible horse ownership. To commit ourselves to the productive cooperative resolution of sensitive equestrian and environmental issues. To offer organized equestrian events that are open to the public. To encourage and promote equestrian related events of the Scottsdale area while contributing to the formation of a social club. To promote fun, family oriented horse activities in the State of Arizona. The Scottsdale Saddle Club is an organization of families and individuals desiring to promote horse-related activities for both its members and the community through service, recreational, social and educational activities. SSC strives to provide an environment for equestrian enthusiasts and families to enjoy the outdoors as well as quality equestrian events such as horse shows, gymkhanas, junior rodeos, trail rides and social events (for those who do not ride). |
 Goals for 2013:The club hopes that the 2013 year improves with more people getting involved and volunteering to help with all activities planned by SSC. Also seeing more growth within the horse shows and the gymkhanas for the 2013 season. To continue to provide schooling gymkhanas, horse shows and junior rodeos that emphasize fun and family for the beginner to the advanced rider. To schedule educational activities that benefit club members. |
