FAWN WARREN, CAPTAIN Member since 2001 Current drill horse: Maestro I used to ride on a drill team in CA. for high school and when we moved out here, I knew I still wanted to do drill, but didn't know where a drill team was. My mother-in-law in CA. actually found the SSC web site and told me about it. I called and showed up to a practice, which was only their first month of practices. They were a brand new set of people getting drill going again for SSC. Their are only a couple of us origionals left, but the new ones always keep it interesting. LOL Their were a couple horses I used for drilling in CA. Both of them have moved on the the big rainbow in the sky. Now I use Maestro. I don't need a back up horse with him. He is always reliable, trustworhty and the best horse for the job. He has helped me come farther and gain my confidence back after a couple hard falls I took with some other horses. Maestro is awesome!! He does anything and everything I could ever ask of him. We just ran our fastest time in barrels, a 19.6, and I can still put my 6 year old son on him in just a halter and lead rope to ride with and he will walk around and take care of him.
