KIMBERLY FISHER Member since 2005 Current drill horse: Sancho Step-father to thank for being into equine, otherwise I never would have known the pleasure. My family boarded horses on about 100 acres of great Missouri pastures and woods where I'd trail ride all day and have picnics with my horse in the fields. When I was a teenager, I took care of 3 horses that were neglected by their owners who never paid board for a couple of years. When I found a 2 ½ year old buckskin mare for sale at a friend's barn, my step-dad gave me the money to buy her for caring for these horses without pay. Sugar became the love of my life, best friend and confidant for many years. My drill horse is Sancho. He's a 20-year-old retired barrel racer that is happy to have something entertaining to do and he stays exercised. When I'm not at drill practices or performances, I work and chauffer my daughter to her horse classes and shows and trail ride with my family.
